Guardians Of The Galaxy

1. The genre of this film is mainly science fiction because of the settings used and all the weapons and technology and has a lot of adventure in it. there is also a mix of sub genres in Guardians of the Galaxy such as: scientific romance, comic book characters/comedy.

2.  Earth boy, Peter Quill, is hunted down by intergalactic criminals after discovering a mysterious orb in another galaxy after being abducted by a spaceship. He then sets out to create a team of space heroes known as ' Guardians Of The Galaxy'.

3. The setting in the movie is linked to science fiction as there is a science lab that they are identified in, a war zone with hude bolders to protect them and also they get sent to an inhumane prison with abnormal people that carry futuristic weapons.

4. The characters used are linked to the science fiction genre because the features they have are not normal features that you would find on a human. they are lab made, not real and their behaviour isnt normal compared to humans, they act in a more violent way.

5. The narrative themes linked to the genre are dystopia, because the world that they live in is a frightening and abnormal place, mutation because the characters in the film are not human-like, they are mutated, they dont have normal features.

Sub Genre- The genre of this is a science fiction film is a mixture of the sub-genres of :family, adventure and a comic science fiction.This also comes under the sub genre experimental science because the crazy scientist has made a future time car machine.

Convection-
The film technique being used is close ups of futuristic technology because the scientist has made time machine using a car which no-one ever knows will happy and uses of scientific elements because he is a scientist and he has used scientific equipment that no-one has ever made before to use his car time machine.

Target Audience-  
The target audience for Back To The Future is for those who love to see a bit of scientific action and experimentation towards things that may happen in the future, its targeted towards families and those who love a bit of drama and action. Not suitable for those who are sensitive to bright lights - e.g photosensitive epilepsy

 There are a mix or genres in Avatar which are : action film, science fiction film, adventure film and fantasy, a world full of abnormal creatures and objects that have been made for recreational purposes. 

Convections-
The film technique being used is scientific elements as non human like creatures are being made which are not normal and you would not normally see these dysfunctionalities in real life so this makes it a fantasy, its not real its imaginary.

Target Audience
The target audience for Avatar is those who like a bit of action and fantasy, those who like to explore deep into the world of creativity. It is mostly targeted for young adults and adults and those under who would like to watch should have parental permission to watch.

1. Why did you choose GCSE Media Studies?

I chose GCSE media studies because I have always loved how films are created, there's a lot to do with the editing and the people that take part. I've always wanted to be a part of making music videos, films and much more. The way the posters and films are made are excellent and I have always wanted to try it out. I can't wait to get started with Media because I know it will be an amazing subject.

2. What part of the course are you looking forward to the most?

I cam looking forward to making a music video, poster and a magazine, it'll be such an amazing experience and filming the for the video will be quite fun as well as you learn how to control the camera and learn how to do different effects.

3.  What knowledge and skills do you hope to learn in Media?

I hope to learn the ways of how to Photoshop and how to add professional effects to a video/picture and I also want to learn how to analyse a movie- to be more analytical.

4. What grade are you realistically hoping to achieve in Media?

I hope to achieve an A for Media

The last Tv programme i watched was Taken 3 with my class.

6. Why do you think that Tv Programme or film appealed to an audience.

It had a lot of drama and suspension which makes a movie/TV programme more interesting.

I used used my phone, Ipad, TV and laptop.

I mostly suse the phone to acces the media and everything else.
